RETRACTO
Design proposal for Antepailion 2020
An adaptable space which sets a boundary between urban life and nature.

Retracto has a frame of bent metal rails which are connected to a plywood base. A tessellated filter is moved through them to crate an adaptable space. The filter is based on origami folding
techniques which allows it to be used also as furniture.
Carboard is the main material for the filter due to its strength and foldability. To prevent weather damage, a waterproof layer will be added to the cardboard.
The pavilion accommodates a bar.
